Check Spectrum Internet & Service Outages

Spectrum provides the most specific outage information after sign-in through Spectrum.net, chat or the My Spectrum App. Start with the official outage check before restarting equipment.

Important

Spectrum does not provide a dependable public nationwide outage map. Account-area details generally require sign-in or chat. Never enter credentials outside Spectrum.net or the official app.

Five checks in the right order

  1. Open Spectrum’s outage guidance and select Check Outages.
  2. Sign in or ask the official chat whether the service address is in an outage.
  3. Check whether Internet, TV, phone or multiple services are affected.
  4. Review any restoration estimate or maintenance notice.
  5. If no outage appears, check equipment status before rebooting.

Outage status and equipment status are separate checks

  • The My Spectrum App displays reported outages and outage details after sign-in.
  • A Connection Issue beside equipment can identify a local device or line problem.
  • Push notifications can provide outage updates when enabled.
  • Equipment may remain offline briefly after area service returns.
  • One Minute Updates never collects Spectrum credentials or service addresses.
