SDG&E provides both a public map and a highly useful text list showing affected communities, customers out, causes and restoration estimates.
Restoration estimates can change as crews investigate. The map refreshes about every ten minutes, while on-site hazards require emergency reporting rather than waiting for a web update.

Five checks in the right order
- Open the outage list and note its Last Updated time.
- Search by community or circuit when known.
- Compare unplanned and planned outage tabs.
- Check PSPS status separately during high-fire-risk weather.
- Follow official safety guidance and report an unlisted outage when necessary.
LOCATION-SPECIFIC GUIDANCE
The text list may be faster than the map
- The public list exposes community, circuit, cause, customers out and estimated restoration when available.
- Planned outages may appear up to 72 hours before the scheduled start.
- On mobile, planned outages are selected through the map information icon and legend.
- PSPS notices and ordinary outage records use different pages.
- One Minute Updates does not collect addresses or SDG&E account information.
