Check LaGuardia Conditions & Security Waits

LGA publishes real-time General and TSA PreCheck waits by terminal. Confirm Terminal A, B or C, then check advisories, your airline and FAA status.

Important

LGA’s passenger terminals are not connected by an airside train. The All Terminals Shuttle is landside, so changing terminals may require another security screening.

Five checks in the right order

  1. Confirm the operating airline and terminal.
  2. Read the current General or TSA PreCheck time for that terminal.
  3. Add the terminal’s published walk time from security to your gate area.
  4. Check LGA advisories and your operating airline.
  5. Review FAA NAS Status for LGA-wide traffic-management delays.

Terminal choice controls the journey

  • Terminal A is the historic Marine Air Terminal and serves a limited operation.
  • Terminal B serves multiple airlines; Terminal C is operated by Delta.
  • Terminal B’s published security-to-gate walks range roughly four to nine minutes.
  • Terminal C’s published walks can reach approximately eleven minutes depending on gate.
  • The All Terminals Shuttle connects terminals and parking landside; budget for traffic and rescreening.

Avoid common traps

Can I use the shortest terminal wait?

Not unless your airline and trip can use that terminal. Confirm the operating carrier first.

Does the shuttle run after security?

No. It is a landside airport bus connection.

Does FAA status confirm my flight?

No. Confirm individual flight status with the operating airline.
