CenterPoint says tracker data is updated about every five minutes, but an unchanged status does not mean crews are inactive. Restoration estimates can move as damage is assessed. Its Action Center says to remain at least 35 feet from a downed line; call 911 for immediate danger.

- CenterPoint operates electric service in the Houston area but also has gas operations and other service regions.
- Selecting the wrong service area can send you to irrelevant outage information.

CenterPoint says information is sent to the tracker about every five minutes. Your displayed status changes only when new restoration information is available.
Is an estimated restoration time guaranteed?
No. Weather, access, damage assessment and repair requirements can change an estimate.
